The boat eases out of the pier, and off we go, slicing through the water. The motor whirrs and whines. The water swishes noisily. The boat rocks from side to side, a big wave crashes and the water enters the cabin.
It is bright and early and you see cyclists on the road already. Clad in their spandex and riding their thousand over dollar bicycles. The dominate the road in packs, taking up an entire lane. Confident, assured, they look kind of intimidating despite their tiny size in comparison with the car.
